Lord Shiva and His Family: A Journey Through Hindu Mythology

In Hinduism, Lord Shiva is one of the most revered deities and is considered to be the destroyer and transformer of the universe. He is often depicted with matted hair, a third eye, and a serpent around his neck, and is associated with power, purity, and detachment. But who is Lord Shiva, and who are the members of his family? In this blog post, we will explore the mythology surrounding Lord Shiva and his family, and their significance in Hinduism.

Lord Shiva, also known as Mahadeva, is considered to be one of the three main gods in Hinduism, along with Brahma and Vishnu. He is the god of destruction, and is often depicted as a powerful and ascetic figure who lives a life of solitude in the mountains. Despite his association with destruction, Lord Shiva is also considered to be a compassionate and benevolent deity who bestows blessings upon his devotees.

Lord Shiva is married to the goddess Parvati, who is also known as Uma, Gauri, and Durga. Parvati is the goddess of love, fertility, and devotion, and is considered to be the gentler aspect of the divine feminine. Together, Lord Shiva and Parvati have two sons, Ganesha and Kartikeya, who are both worshipped as gods in their own right.

Ganesha, the elephant-headed god, is the god of wisdom and is considered to be the remover of obstacles. He is often depicted as a plump and jovial figure, and is one of the most widely worshipped gods in Hinduism. Kartikeya, also known as Skanda, is the god of war and is associated with bravery and strength. He is depicted as a handsome and powerful young warrior, and is worshipped mainly in South India.

In addition to his wife and sons, Lord Shiva is also accompanied by his faithful servant and companion, the bull Nandi. Nandi is considered to be the vehicle of Lord Shiva, and is worshipped as the gatekeeper of Lord Shiva's abode.

In conclusion, Lord Shiva and his family form an important part of Hindu mythology, and their stories and symbolism continue to influence Hindu beliefs and practices to this day. From the power and detachment of Lord Shiva, to the love and devotion of Parvati, to the wisdom of Ganesha and the bravery of Kartikeya, each member of this divine family represents a different aspect of the divine and continues to be worshipped and revered by millions of Hindus worldwide.

Ego vs Awareness: Understanding the Key Differences

In the world of psychology and personal growth, two terms that often come up are "ego" and "awareness." While these terms are closely related, they refer to very different things and can have a significant impact on our lives. In this blog post, we will explore the key differences between ego and awareness, and how they can impact our thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Ego refers to the part of our personality that is focused on our own self-interest and image. It is the voice in our head that constantly judges and evaluates our experiences, seeking to maintain a sense of control and security. The ego is often driven by fear, insecurity, and a need for validation from others. This can lead to negative self-talk, self-doubt, and a distorted view of reality.

Awareness, on the other hand, refers to the state of being present in the moment and noticing what is happening around us without judgment. It involves recognizing our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations without getting caught up in them. Awareness allows us to see things as they are, rather than through the lens of our ego's biases and interpretations. This can lead to greater clarity, peace, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

So, why is it important to understand the difference between ego and awareness? When our ego is in control, we may find ourselves constantly seeking external validation and engaging in self-defeating behaviors. This can lead to feelings of emptiness, anxiety, and depression. On the other hand, when we cultivate awareness, we can gain greater insight into our thoughts and emotions, allowing us to make better decisions and lead a more fulfilling life.

In conclusion, ego and awareness are two key aspects of our personality that can have a profound impact on our lives. By understanding the difference between the two, we can work to cultivate awareness and let go of our ego-driven tendencies, leading to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.

A sigh of relief

Uhh! It's  been a while since I was so worried about the things I decided to change  . The days that passed  by reminded me of how stupid i was to be hung up with those spared moments . But now everything seems magical . The pain of the rudeness , the bitterness  of the toxicity is gone .How dumb i was to believe that someone  would do extraordinary for me 😂😂, Another funny thing is i was so scared of their sacrifice (*for the sake of comradeship) ,wtf.🙄 I realized  that sometimes we are able to see   the another side only by taking risk . The reality is so far unrealistic  for these  eyes to believe. Time is the tool to  unravel the mystery .Whatever  happens,   happens for a reason  (it could be a lesson or a guideline). Life is  good , So the people are . Everyone  has their  own character which decides their destiny.

My Personality Traits

Jay Shree Krishna ,
I am a talkative person. I talk all the time especially with all my close friends. I am always the first one who says something when there is an awkward moment in any case which I think is a good thing. But when I meet people for the very first time I don't talk as much which is my shyness but when the awkward moment of meeting someone new is over then I talk more. I am cautious, I am always observing my surroundings and looking for anything that can be dangerous or harmful. I have a personality trait of having thoughtfulness. I am always the one who opens the door for everyone and I do a lot of other things like that. Also whenever my mom needs help at her housework I always go without saying no because I know my mom's efforts can get difficulty if she doesn't have someone to help her. In a way it's also being kind, which I think I am. I am optimistic. I am just not a negative person even when I am upset or mad. Keeping an open mind about anything just makes you an overall happier person. I'm a protective and conservative person. I try to protect my loved ones from external constraints. I give my best to let them play freely and I  keep my eyes on them. That's my way of caring for them.

SELF WORTH

Jay Shree Krishna,
The only one who gets to decide your worth is you .It doesn't come from your bank account or the number of friends you have. It doesn't come from what someone else says you are worth. It's called self worth for a reason- it comes from you. It comes from being yourself and being proud of who you are. It comes from being someone that you can count on and someone you love. The numbers will change with time, but what won't change is who you are deep inside- beautiful, limitless, wonderful, creative, strong, capable- and that is where your worth comes from.

Life is a puzzle

Jay shree Krishna

There is a world within a day. There are so many stages and moments to savor within every day. Right now, the sun is burning through the mid morning fog that is coming off the hills. I am thinking about what I want to do today ,and that feels powerful. How can I surrender myself to the the narrative of  the everyday ?how can I  really open up to the thousands of opportunities I meet every single day ? I can feel them dancing and shining at me through the mist of my expectations.Fuck  My expectations! I am ready for new, the strange and the exquisite. I am a detective ,searching for clues within my daily  life, finding and solving the  riddle of the hidden world ,summing up  all the puzzle pieces. You pick right piece for each places and all pieces fall into right place. Then you are all set to soar. Life isn't  hard if you deal genuinely. There is no point to worry and to be regretful for anything that disturb your peac and your existence. You live your life , not others . First learn  to walk then, gradually you can run. That's how life works.

I Must Change

Jay Shree Krishna
Everyone wants a listening ear . Everyone wants to be seen, heard and understood. Everyone wants to be happy, to be appreciated and to be loved . We all want to be heard , respected and to be seen as the person we see ourselves. But how ? , how does anyone expect me to see if all they do is talking abuses of my good intentions?. If they make excuses for every single thing that goes wrong . Even though they know it was their choice . When I do my best to help them , be there fo them , to hear their voices , to accept them . How can they use that goodness , after all that's my innocence, after all my understanding, my time and my good intentions. They treat me the way they never knew me .How will they understand me , If their intentions are just to use me. Please hear me first , accept my flaws, respect my innocences. I think I must deny them when they speak to me ,I must refuse them to help . I must change myself as If I don't feel anything .

80/20 Rule [ Pareto Principle ]

Jay Shri Krishna
,  I am so much obsessed with 80 /20 rule. This rule says 20% of our work give 80% result and rest of 80% effort only give only 20% outcome. We do lots of activities in a day but 20% of those work are giving productive outcome. This we can relate in workout also ,the last 20 minutes of our workout strengthens our body .In the same way the 20% of our whole study makes the the basis for the whole subject. This rule brings the clarification to the doubt of a productive time .So it's worth notable to understand the logic of positive outcome. In our focus mode  we focus only on the the 20% of the period of session .This might seem overwhelming,  but if we look closely on this we can relate 80 /20 rule in every aspect of our life. There is not doubtful point to bring up on to this. Whatever we do in our life, only 20% of those efforts result positive or productive outcome.

Applying New Strategy from now on

Jay Shri Krishna , It's 12:30 and I am still awake. It's kind of feeling that is motivating me e to stay active and awake . As I am planning to make a routine and I am on the way to accomplish ,what I am aspiring to achieve . Day one has completed perfectly by routine. It's great to create a ritual and it's easy to follow because it represents a sort of urgency to finish the task . In previous days my mind was used to wander between activities but today I felt like I have to stay productive and it was astonishing. When we write down our task for the day in morning time , we will be reminded to do the task and body also adapts with the time set . It's just a new strategy that I completed for this day .And I am sure I'll keep this strategy in coming days. I've learnt there is nothing worthy to sleep without any purpose.  It's not going to hard for me to change my order this way everything is almost perfect. I hope God is going to bless me me energy to fuel myself to stay in the routine. I want to thank God for everything.
